Pastor Leroy originally came to FBC Pelham in March of 2021. He has been actively involved in Southern Baptist churches since the mid-nineties. He has pastored churches from the mountains of Virginia to the beaches of Florida over the last 18 years. He graduated from Valdosta State University before moving on to Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary where he graduated with an MDiv degree in 2002.

 

Additionally, Leroy serves as a trustee for the Georgia Baptist Children's Home, is a member of the Order of Business Committee for the Georgia Baptist Mission Board, and locally as a School Governance member for Pelham City Schools to name of few of opportunities Leroy has received from his local ministry. 

 

But his greatest honor is being married to his wife, Lori, for the past 28 years. God has blessed both Leroy and Lori with six children and a multitude of memories. 

 

What does he like to do you ask? Hunting, fishing, and anything outdoors are his favorite ways to enjoy God's creation when he can. He's a pretty normal guy even if he is a pastor.
